Please verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. This MyLab supports the following operating system and browser combinations.

Note: The use of other browsers, particularly Google Chrome, will likely result in known issues in the composing space.

The recommended resolution for the New MyLabs is 1280 x 800. Lower resolutions (for example, 1024 x 768) may result in display issues, such as pages being cut off on the right.

Additional Software

Depending on the content at your site, you may also need to install one or more plug-ins, such as Adobe® Reader®, Adobe Flash® Player, or Adobe Shockwave® Player.

Audio Commenting

To use the audio-commenting feature available for composition and collaboration assignments, instructors must have a built-in microphone, a stand-alone microphone, or a microphone that is part of a headset. Headset or built-in microphones are recommended for Mac users. Also, Mac users who have external microphones should have amplifiers for proper recording.

Both students and instructors must have functioning speaker systems, which are not muted, to play back audio comments. Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.60 or higher is required for proper recording and play-back functionality.
